Planforge offers two AI functions:

We use ChatGPT to power our AI functions. Therefore, any data that is transmitted is sent to OpenAI in the US. The data is transmitted via our Planforge company API key on an encrypted channel. Data is only used for processing your request, and not for training the AI.
Specifically, the following data is transmitted:
Your search prompt is transmitted to the AI and the AI searches the online documentation. No other data is transmitted or used in providing search results.

Yes, Planforge is fully GDPR compliant.
For Planforge Cloud: Our cloud hosting provider for Europe, Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Frankfurt, also meets strict GDPR and data protection standards. More information about AWS’s compliance policies can be found here: Compliance.
Only a standard web browser is required to access Planforge. The supported browsers are listed in the Server Installation Manual and apply to both Planforge Server and Cloud.
Planforge Cloud: All communication takes place over HTTPS, so the connection runs on port 443.
Planforge Server: Planforge runs on an Apache Tomcat server and therefore uses the port on which that Tomcat server is configured to run. The protocol through which Planforge (i.e. the Tomcat server) is accessible depends on your company’s infrastructure. If you want to use HTTPS, the infrastructure must be configured accordingly.
Planforge Cloud: Planforge uses SSL/TLS and HTTPS to ensure secure data transmission.
Planforge Server: The protocol and encryption used for communication with Planforge (or the Tomcat server) depend on your company’s infrastructure. If you want to use SSL/TLS and HTTPS, your infrastructure must be configured accordingly.
Planforge Cloud: No. Login credentials in Planforge are hashed in the database using SHA-256 and are transmitted securely via SSL/TLS and HTTPS.
