Features and capabilities are a central part of the Scaled Agile Framework®. You need features for developing solutions. First, they are maintained in the backlog and then implemented in the Program Increment. Each feature delivers value and can either originate from splitting a capability or epic or from an Agile Release Train's context.
A feature is a service that satisfies a stakeholder's need. The feature contains a benefit hypothesis and acceptance criteria. It is sized precisely to be delivered in a single Agile Release Train in a Program Increment.
